Maintenance Schedules

 

Calibre Fitness Ellipticals

Your Calibre Fitness Elliptical should have been delivered to you in excellent working condition, to keep your product in excellent working order, please follow these maintenance guidelines.

Daily Maintenance

  • Wipe down console with a clean damp cloth, (No detergents).
  • Clean exterior of machine with a clean damp cloth, (No detergents).
  • Clean CHR sensors with a clean damp cloth, (No detergents).

Monthly Maintenance

  • Inspect all covers for damage, replace as required.
  • Inspect footpads for wear and tear, replace as required.

Quarterly Maintenance

  • Check and tighten all pivot point bolts.
  • Check and tighten all leg and arm assembly points.
  • Check drive/generator belts for wear and tension, replace as required.

Calibre Fitness Treadmills

Your Calibre Fitness Treadmill should have been delivered to you in excellent working condition, to keep your product in excellent working order, please follow these maintenance guidelines.

Daily Maintenance

  • Wipe down console with a clean damp cloth, (No detergents).
  • Clean exterior of machine with a clean damp cloth, (No detergents).
  • Clean CHR sensors with a clean damp cloth, (no detergents).

NOTE: Do not use any glass cleaners or any other household cleaners on this machine. Do not soak the walk belt with water.


Weekly Maintenance

  • Elevate the treadmill to the maximum incline and vacuum the floor under it to reduce dust and dirt from entering the treadmill.

Monthly Maintenance

  • Check walk belt tracking and tension; adjust as necessary. Failure to adjust the walk belt correctly will prematurely wear the belt, deck and roller bearings, (refer to user manual for correct adjustment).
  • Check the power cord connection is fully inserted into the treadmill and inspect cord for damage, change as required.

WARNING

DISCONNECT POWER CORD PLUG FROM POWER OUTLET BEFORE CHECKING POWER CORD.


Following these guidelines above will prevent premature failure and downtime whilst prolonging the service life of your Calibre Fitness product.

Note: We recommend that you have your machine serviced by a qualified technician on a quarterly basis.

Calibre Fitness Upright and Recumbent Bikes

Your Calibre Fitness Upright/ Recumbent Bike should have been delivered to you in excellent working condition, to keep your product in excellent working order, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

Daily Maintenance

  • Wipe down console with a clean damp cloth, (No detergents).
  • Clean covers and seat with a clean damp cloth and inspect covers to ensure all rivets are positioned correctly, (No detergents).
  • Clean CHR sensors with a clean damp cloth, (no detergents).

Monthly Maintenance

  • Clean and lubricate seat post and handle bar post with Silicone spray.
  • Clean and inspect pedals are secure and pedal straps are in good order.
  • Check and tighten crank arms if required.
  • Check seat adjustment track and operation (recumbent).

Quarterly Maintenance

  • Inspect HTD and POLY V belts.
  • Tension belts if required.
  • Inspect crank bearings.

Calibre Strength Products

Your Calibre Strength equipment should have been delivered to you in excellent working condition. To keep your product in excellent working order, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

Daily Maintenance

  • Clean all handgrips, seat and back pads with a clean water-dampened cloth, (no detergents).

NOTE: Do not use any glass cleaners or any other household cleaners on these machines.

Monthly Maintenance

  • Clean and lubricate guide rods with Silicone spray.
  • Check weight stack belt or cable tension and adjust as necessary.
  • Check seat and back pads adjust correctly.

Quarterly Maintenance

  • Inspect weight stack belt or cable pulleys for any damage, replace as necessary.
  • Check all nuts and bolts are secure or tight.

Preventative Maintenance Schedule

Your Spin Bike should have been delivered to you in excellent working condition To keep your bike in excellent working order, please follow these maintenance guidelines:

Daily Maintenance

  • Wipe down the spin bike after each use to remove sweat and moisture.
  • Use soap and water or a diluted non-abrasive cleaner solution.
  • Rinse to remove detergent residue and then dry.
  • Every day at the end of your last Indoor Cycling Class, have each member release the brake resistance knob, so that the brake pads do not contact the flywheel, this will increase longevity of the brake pads.

Weekly Maintenance

  • Inspect the brake pad for excessive wear.
  • If the sponge padding is showing through the brake pad, replace the brake pad.
  • Inspect your spin bike for loose parts, nuts, bolts, etc. Pay special attention for loose seats, pedals, stabilizer levelers and both the seat and handlebar pop-pin locking nuts, tighten all loose parts accordingly.

Monthly Maintenance

  • Inspect the belt for correct alignment and tension.
  • A properly tensioned belt will not slip when pedaling the bike standing up.
  • Check the belt for excessive wear.
  • Replace any belt that is cracked, frayed, or otherwise non-uniform.
